Rev. Jacob Tuma

Pastor Tuma has served as the pastor of St. John's since July of 2020.
He is a 2016 graduate of Concordia University in Seward, NE, and graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO, in 2020. As the son of a dairy-farmer-become-pastor, Jacob loves rural life here in Nebraska and is glad to be able to serve the people of St. John's and the Pierce community.

Jacob and his wife, Grace, are blessed with four children. In their spare they all enjoy fishing and gardening.
Nichole Kuehler

Nichole has served as the church secretary since January of 2024 and Youth Group Leader since 2022. She has also helped by cleaning the church since 2017. In the past she has served as our Sunday School Superintendent from 2017 to May of 2022.
Nichole grew up in Winside, NE, and has lived in Pierce since 2002 where she resides with her husband Eric and children Isabelle and Kyle. Her eldest son Dylan resides in Osmond. She loves to be with her family and go to sporting events, to be outdoors, garden, boating, fishing, kayaking, traveling, or taking long vacations to the beach or the mountains.
